I have a fairly consistent routine each day. I get up, workout, have breakfast and start working. My daily schedule might vary from meetings to desk work, but there are elements that are consistent.
Everyone does it. They fall into routines and it becomes easy to do the same thing for a long time.
You probably can say there are elements of your life where you do what you do because that’s the way you’ve always done it.
The same thing applies in business. But when you get into a routine, sometimes you can be stuck in a rut.
But we all know that innovation and change are where we have the biggest breakthroughs and success.
Are you falling behind?
Are you doing the same things you’ve done before because that’s the way you’ve always done it?
It’s especially critical in organizational development and team engagement.
The foundation of any company’s brand is its team members’ personal brands. Your team members need to know their greatest value. Your team needs to use its collective advantages to optimize its success.
I gave Bryan the Fascination Advantage Assessment shortly after I become certified. Bryan works for a large corporation in the health care industry. I was expecting that he’d have something to say about his Fascination Archetype result.
Instead, his first response was, “I wish everyone at work would take this assessment so they would understand how I work and I could understand how they need to hear information from me so we can get these projects done and stop wasting time in all these meetings, phone calls and back and forth email messages.”
Remember that old adage:
If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.
Be forward-thinking. Bring personal branding with the Fascination Advantage System to your organizational development toolbox.
